Le visage marqué de cicatrices, Joey a du mal à accepter le regard des autres. Duncan is an ocean from home over the holidays and expects to spend them alone. To his pleasant surprise, one of his European co-workers, Georg, befriends him and includes Duncan in the holiday traditions of his homeland: cutting a Christmas tree under starry skies at Georg’s country estate, decorating it at the family’s city home, and shopping at the Christmas market in Munich. Both men are lonely and realize they have much in common. But Georg’s life is in Germany and Duncan’s is in Boston. With the project they’re working on nearing completion, any chance for more than a holiday fling seems as elusive as stardust.

Un libro della serie Amore Significa...

Joey Sutherland ha trovato casa con Geoff Laughton e il suo partner Eli; vivere e lavorare alla fattoria è diventato per lui una sorta di rifugio dopo che un incidente in moto l’ha lasciato con una faccia piena di cicatrici e un sacco di insicurezze. Mari, la zia di Geoff, li convince a ospitare in casa un musicista dell’Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale Giovanile. Joey si ritrova messo alle corde quando gli viene chiesto di andare a prenderlo, perché riesce già a immaginare il disgusto sul volto del ragazzo.

Robert Edward Jameson però lo sorprende: è estroverso e amichevole e ha intenzione di provare praticamente tutto nella fattoria. E poi è cieco, il che aiuta i nervi di Joey a calmarsi.

Joey e Robbie diventano inseparabili e scoprono che si stanno innamorando. Ma l’estate sta finendo e Robbie tornerà a casa nel Mississippi, dove la famiglia e i domestici lo aiutano in ogni cosa. Jeremy and Nate hit it off quickly, but Jeremy runs when he’s made to believe their new home isn’t permanent. Nate goes after him, finds him, and convinces him that he’s wanted. However, just as Jeremy and Nate begin to trust each other, Petey’s estranged father appears and threatens to tear Jeremy’s new life and fledgling family apart.

The Bullriders: Book Three

Aspiring orchestra conductor Marshall is exhausted after months of auditions without a single job offer. He hasn’t been anywhere near a bull since he was hurt, and he’s not the most accommodating host. After all, the only reason he keeps guests is because his family ranch is all but bankrupt.

Marshall’s attraction doesn’t go unanswered, which leaves him with a huge dilemma. He’s torn between the possibility of love, something he’s searched for all his life, and the career he’s worked toward for as long as he can remember, which is miles away. From his side of the fence, Indigo doesn’t see how the ranch could ever be enough.
