<p>I really enjoyed <strong><em>Promises</em&-
amp;gt;</strong>. Marie Sexton takes the friends-to-lovers and seemingly straight guy tropes and turns them into a story that’s emotional, dramatic, and has just the right amount of angst and conflict.
