Tara Larson comes from a conservative, Bible-Belted, Southern town in North Florida and yet still somehow managed to become a liberal-progressive hippie. She grew up barefooted and beach-bound, devouring books of all kinds, playing guitar (from sweet acoustic to loud rock music), dreaming in poetry, writing love songs, laughing her ass off, and trying to change the world – and she’s still doing all of those things. She believes in magic, beauty, and the power of love. She writes stories to connect hearts with minds and minds with hearts, and thinks love – no matter what package it arrives in – is the most treasured thing any of us can hold. She writes to inspire, to titillate, to intrigue, to captivate, to surprise, to unnerve, to enlighten, and to teach. She loves finding what makes people tick and exploring the intersections of people’s lives. She gets off on serendipitous happenstance and crazy coincidences, although she doesn’t believe there’s any such thing as coincidences. In the real world she has a master’s degree in digital media/Communications, creates websites and graphic design, speaks Spanish and a little bit of French, and is married to a mad scientist with whom she has created two little monsters.
