Paul Taylor grew up in small southern Connecticut town on Long Island Sound. His all-Irish family had laughers and musicians on one side and severe and staid on the other. Both sides were full of storytellers. After receiving a master’s degree from a Midwest Jesuit university, he moved to Germany, where he worked for a European airline and later for Air Zimbabwe. His two decades of world travel have provided him with plenty of experiences and material for his own stories. He returned to the Midwest in the mid-1990s and currently lives in Wisconsin.
A hobby historian, he is an avid collector of militaria, firehouse memorabilia, and antiques. His interests range from baroque opera to softball and from cooking to photography.
Paul writes previews, reviews, interviews, features, and opinion for a variety of news outlets. His turn to fiction writing gives him an outlet to explore the more personal and human side of life.
